I spend money at local places. You know... stimulate the economy and such so they can keep their jobs.

And by local you mean independent small businesses? Because I'm sure there are lots of local big box stores and McDonalds, etc...

Yes, independent small business. I don't consider McDonalds local unless they're selling portuguese sausage eggs and rice, and hot taro pies. Haha!

OOOOOH! Did you like those hot taro pies? I loved them! I thought I was the only one.

I like supporting small/local businesses, but it gets increasingly more difficult (though easier in Italy). Though when they talk about stimulating the economy on the news I feel like they're giving clear preference to stinking corporations. I hate corporations!
