Ticketing sites, events producer/organizers?

I'm thinking of going back this year or the next. To kill two birds with one stone, I'm setting my trip to coincide with a concert I'd like to watch (most likely, by an artist who never comes to my country - like Japanese groups/bands).

1) So...aside from ticket.com.tw, what are other ticketing sites you've used?

2) Which events calendar sites do you ( Read more... )

I go to concerts a lot here in Taipei (I see you mention japanese groups. you like...jrock/vk by any chance?). The Wall in Taipei has hosted the most and best so far as I've been around. You can buy tickets directly from their website. Once you're here, 7-11s and the ibon ticket thing are your best bet for getting tickets.

artsticket.com.tw

tickets.books.com.tw

eventful.com (with location changed to taipei, taiwan--actually has a pretty good listing of stuff going on)

And my favorite for concerts is gigguide.tw

helpful?

Thanks for the links! Yes in fact I'm looking forward to seeing Jrock bands' performances.

I got curious so I browsed your LJ. Is the LM.C concert in Taiwan?

yep, LM.C will be in Taipei April 23rd. It's at a venue i've never been to before, so it's been quite a confusing loop of HUH? trying to get the tickets...haha. Always fun. Are you planning to be here that soon? What concert were you planning to 'coincide' your arrival with?

But yea, most jrock comes through The Wall. I saw both Ayabie and Plastic Tree there. Miyavi played there on his first world tour, but this year played at a youth center called y-17 (tickets there can be gotten through the 7-11). So, really...I watch their website very closely...Even the LM.C concert, though not in The Wall, is sponsored by the Wall (as was my recent D'Espairs Ray/Mucc event)...
