Anyone have any idea where to find a child-sized Astroboy t-shirt in Taipei? I was wandering around Ximending today trying to find a store that carries cartoon character goods and the closest thing I found was some knock-off Angry Birds t-shirts (complete with description text from the Apple App Store ( Read more... )

Try Baleno-- I'm really not sure if they will still have them, but I've seen Astroboy-themed clothing in there from time to time (they seem to rotate between cartoon characters).

Thanks for the tip. I was stumbling around Ximending again after the ladies at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi told me where to go. I saw the Baleno Astroboy poster right after I bought a shirt from Rockcoco, which does licensed shirts. But damn, the prices were a lot steeper than I imagined: the cheapest shirt at Baleno was 1799TWD. Crazy stuff.
