"I have eaten both rotten meat (called "High Meat") and rotten eggs that were black..and with no adverse effects. Aajonus was indeed right!"

that sentence will haunt me for a while.

he wrote me complimenting our kim chee and asked if it had been heat pasteurized (since he only eats raw stuff) and i responded and asked him if he was a raw vegan (the only raw trend i know of... until now).

could louis pasteur have been wrong? should we instead be Vonderplanitzing our food?

I guess I've known a lot of truly new-agey people. There is so much stuff you can do about really basic things everyone takes for granted -- like food and it's just fascinating.

I understand the *concept* of eating raw veggies when they start to sprout (that's when their energy levels are highest), or eating nothing but nuts and fruits, but I don't really understand the concept of rotting meat. Just from an evolutionary standpoint, I'm sure our bodies can handle rotten eggs but I'd think our bodies would be programmed to take fresh stuff best. The thinking being that the "fittest" are able to get to the fresh stuff first.
