You know, I still think the bay is a good market for your products, though I have yet to taste them. Though on the other hand, it's probably a bad place to test them.

I know some really good chefs that you might be able to get some good recipes from or something...doing R&D for vegan food, you definitely should throw a trip into the bay.

yeah, i occasionally get customers from la (yeah, not the bay area) who tell me that they want to see our tamales in their local whole foods... which always amazes me since i'd have figured cali to be hugely into vegan tamales by now. that assumption is based on my understanding that cali has a huge amount of latinos and sets food trends in vegan foods for the rest of the country to follow (i.e. sushi/sashimi)... those 2 factors, i'd figure have converged into a vegan tamale and other vegan latino foods.

still thinking about that restaurant in SF? i hope you are. i want to open an asian-centric cinema in houston chinatown someday... just a crazy dream.

yeah, tofu dumplings are on the horizon for us, and we might need some help resolving some texture issues... getting a vegan dumpling to have a meaty bite to it, is tricky.

it's all about time though. i'll definitely let you know when i need that help.
