Granted, it's a little ignorant for her to think that a tax break can solve all her financial issues. But I believe what she meant is that with the tax breaks she'll be receiving, she will have more money to put towards her gas and mortgage bills. Not that the government is going to come over to her house and write her a check.
What this security guard is proclaiming is exactly opposite of what Obama is planning. Unless this woman makes over $200,000 (and I'm pretty sure she was implying that she doesn't), Obama's plan is actually going to help her.
Now it's 200K? I thought it was 250K? Bill Richardson said the other day 150K...and Biden, God love that gaffing buffoon, he said 120K. Which is it?
The fact is that his "tax breaks" are not tax breaks to the 40% of Americans who currently do not pay federal income tax. It's a welfare check. Obama's plan is wrong-headed, even ignorant.
