Ichikawa Somegoro has someting special, is not only a kabuki... I don't know maybe his gaze? Is so young and at the same time so adult and serious

Oh he is *magnetic* on stage. His first scene for Matsuura no Taiko was in a group with a lot of other people and my eyes went straight to him instantly.

I know he's been doing other acting projects too, straight plays etc, but I hope he stays with Kabuki cause he's a natural. I'm surprised he's not being trained as an onnagata since he's so beautiful and it definitely won't hurt for Kouraiya and his dad when he was still Somegorō did Onnagata roles too.
