Me, a frat brother?

So this sounds weird. I'm seriously considering pledging Fiji here if I can get a bid, which I'm pretty sure I can. Been to most of their rush parties and had hella good times. They seem like good guys (as in not typical icky frat boys), their dues are relatively cheap, and they give automatic scholarships if you keep a GPA that I will be ( Read more... )

I'm surprised they're not making the frats wait a semester like they normally do. For what it is worth they're probably a lot more attractive one's first semester in terms of meeting people, etc., but a lot less attractive after you've already been living there for a semester and gotten (somewhat) settled and used to things. I prefered it when it was that way (plus it includes a first semester to take advantage of). I'm not trying to influence you one way or another, just one way to look at it if you're indecisive.
