The Innocence of Love part 2
So, it has been 3 months since he worked at the school, 3 months since he knew Yamada Ryosuke, the dance teacher, yet he had only talked to the other guy 5 times. And they weren’t even a conversation, only greetings. Like ‘good morning’ or ‘great job for today’, or ‘don’t you think the weather is really nice today’ that kind of simple greetings. Yuto kinda regret he didn’t have the same schedule with Yamada so he didn’t get to see him much. He’s busy with his own teaching schedule, and so was the other. Well, actually there were times when he didn’t have any teaching schedule for the day so he could relax and wandered off. He took that opportunity to look for Yamada. The first place he would approached was obviously the dance class. Whether Yamada was teaching or not at the time, Yuto was already happy seeing the other guy. He loves to see him dance. He often peeked inside and continued to gaze longingly at the shorter figure. He never knew whether Yamada realized it or not, but little did he knew whenever he came and peeking silently, he could see Yamada’s pink cheek reflected on the mirror. Nahh.. must be the effect from the dance... was what he would always concluded.
This day was the same Yuto was wandering off to find anything he could do for the day. So like the routine he had unconsciously done, he approached the dance class. He was rather surprised at that time cause when he took a peek inside, there was Yamada, yes, but he was accompanied by someone. Someone who had a small figure, squirrel teeth, and cat’s smile. He immediately hid before he could be seen by the two person. He didn’t know why he hid, but he felt like he would interrupt a serious conversation if he was seen. So he just stood there, back facing the wall. He could hear them slightly, maybe because the wall is too thin.
“Yamada sensei ?” Chinen asked suddenly, the said teacher turned his head to look at his student and smiled softly.
“Yes? What is it Chinen-san?” He stopped what he was doing at the time, which was tying his shoelaces, and took his attention to his adorable little student.
Chinen immediately blush furiously, he fidgeted for a while then looked up to meet his sensei’s face. “I- mm.. I really l-like you Yamada sensei, please go out with me!” he said nervously, bowed down really low until his face almost hit his knee.
Yamada was a little bit shocked at first but he knew if he showed his shocked facial expression more further he would hurt his student’s feeling. So he coughed a little at first, seeing his student didn’t show any sign to bring his body up from the bow position. He approached his student and lifted him up so he wasn’t bowing at him anymore. He placed a hand over Chinen’s head and smiled.
“Thank you for your feelings for me, really. I really appreciate it and happy to know about it..” he paused for a while, thinking about what he should say next, “ but.. I’m sorry. I already have someone that I love, even though I don’t know if that someone loves me back or not. I’m really sorry ne. But we could be friends right, not just teacher and students relationship, but friends~” he said softly not wanting to hurt the other’s feeling.
Even though Chinen was a bit disappointed, he felt somehow relieved. He was happy that he could finally tell his feelings even though he didn’t get the answer he wanted. He thought that Yamada sensei is the best teacher he would ever have, so he hugged him tightly and said “ Thank you sensei, I’m not regretting what I’ve done earlier. I don’t even feel upset, and somehow relieved” after that he released his arm from the teacher.
“Good then~ well maybe that’s because you actually don’t like me as like LIKE, I think you like another person but you just don’t realize your feelings to that person yet.”
While the two continued their conversation, Yuto was still standing outside. He heard them, he already knew his cute student likes Yamada. Well he also heard that Yamada love someone else too. His heart beat faster and faster thinking who might be Yamada’s crush. It’s a complicated feeling really. He felt hurt a little bit, but also excited at the same time. But why? He only love to see him dance, he just want to see him every day, he just want to talk to him and spend some time together. He wandered if it was love that he actually feel for the other guy. He shook his head, trying not to think about it anymore. He slapped his own cheeks only to be called curiously by a familiar sound.
“Yuto-sensei what did you slap your cheeks for?”
Yuto startled and turned his head towards the opened door. He saw Chinen staring at him weirdly and immediately he saw the person who stood behind the cute little guy. He was flustered, really.
“Aa-n-nothing.. my cheeks were itchy so I decided to slap it.” Crap. He said. He felt like an idiot after realizing what he had just said for a reason. He heard Chinen laughed and Yamada chuckled lowly. Yuto was glad, he didn’t know why but he just felt glad. Maybe it was because he knew he was the reason that Yamada was now laughing softly.
“so sensei, what were you doing in front of the dance class?” Chinen asked curiously while the three of them were walking down the hall to approach the school gate. Yuto glanced at Yamada and saw the other’s face was facing the ground. His bang covering the face.
“Well, I was walking down the hall when I heard you guys were talking. But I’m sorry I didn’t mean to eardrop your conversation. I was just..uhm.. well curious.”
“haha wasn’t that just the same, Yuto sensei?”
Yuto chuckled lightly and scratched his head apologizingly. Finally the three of them were at the spot where one of them had to walk down on separate ways.
“Well then, see you tomorrow, Yuto sensei, Yamada sensei~” Chinen said cheerfully. He noticed Yamada sensei’s face was flushing pink all the way down from school whenever Yuto sensei laughed or smiled or starting a conversation. He smirked knowingly before pulling Yamada sensei down so his height was at the same level with his sensei’s ear.
“Yamada sensei, why don’t you tell me that Yuto sensei is the one you love so dearly ?” Chinen whispered playfully, but it made Yamada’s face turned even more brightened in pink.
Yuto tilted his head in confusion, “Hey, Chinen-kun.. that’s not fair. Why did you only tell Yamada sensei and not me, your perfect chemistry teacher. “
Chinen stucked out his tounge and then running to leave his two teachers alone together.
“It’s a secret~~!!” Chinen yelled from a far and laughing happily.
Yuto turned his head to the other guy and nudged him on the arm. Yamada startled a bit from the contact and then turned his head to Yuto.
“So, What did he tell you?” Yuto asked while started to walk again to the same direction as Yamada was walking.
“Nothing, it’s a secret” he answered with a smile. Finally Yamada could manage his heart beating and talked to the tall guy normally. Not until Yuto suddenly grabbed his hand and pulled him back strongly , ended up him leaning onto the tall guy’s chest. A group of motorcycle suddenly passed with a full high speed just a couple of inch away from their spot. Yamada blushed again and could feel the other guys heart beat on his cheek. It was so calming until he finally let go and drew apart slowly.
“T-thank you Nakajima-kun” He stuttered. Yuto smiled, glad that he had saved Yamada.
“So, Yamada-kun where do you live?” Yuto asked curiously.
“I live in an apartment near here, there’s a park with a beautiful pond across it. So I really like the apartment, I can see many children laughing freely from my windows everyday. “ He answered truthfully. Yamada sensed the tall guy was staring at him so he braced himself to look back. He slowly turned his head and caught Yuto smiling at him, making his blood rush to his cheek.
“You like kids then?” Yuto asked, the other guy nodded his head slowly and suddenly he was grabbed by his hand and being pulled to somewhere.
“Nakajima-kun, where are you taking me?” Yamada asked worriedly, cause its almost dark and they were running on what seems like an endless road.
