So I finally called the Obama headquarters guy to tell him I didn't think I wanted to try to fit dating someone into my life right now due to my own personal issues and a general lack of personal time as it is.  Adding another thing to feel obligated towards isn't exactly something I want right now...and I just wasn't feeling it anyway.  So yeah,

Why would anyone have a problem with you being single? It's not like you're 35 and your biological clock is really ticking and your friends know you want to have kids and so they are kind of pushing the dating scene on you.

Being single might be lonely, but is much less stressful than dating (unless you're dating the right guy).

And guys are dense. I don't think they get it. Or they do get it and they choose to ignore what you're saying. I don't know. I tend to be attracted to assholes, so I can't really say I have a record for how normal or nice guys behave. haha.

But anyways, there is nothing wrong with being single until you find someone that you seriously WANT to fit into your life. That's what I think. I'm not going to let a guy in my life again as more than a friend until I think they are seriously worth it.
