Dalia walked down the steps of City Hall and over to a bench on the corner where she and James were supposed to meet. They hadn't made concrete plans - she didn't know where they were grabbing dinner or if they'd do anything afterward - but it had been a few days and they both wanted to see each other, so they'd agreed to meet

A few minutes later, James walked over, having parked his car nearby. It was a nice enough day that unless they couldn't find something around here, he didn't feel like being cooped up in the car.

"Hey," he said, giving Dalia a smile.

"Hey," Dalia smiled back, getting up from the bench. "How're you?"

"I'm good." He wouldn't tell her about lunch just yet. "How're you?"
