Highlands trip (Oct 13-14)
Good ole Arcadia took us on a trip to the highlands of Scotland but sadly we didn't get to see the highlands too much. tear. Anyway, far too many pictures that haven't been resized this wayyyyyyyyyy!
Oh, whoops before I went to the Highlands I saw Look See Proof open for The Twang (gross) at Barrowland Ballroom. First lemme just say Barrowland is HIGHlarious.... it totally is a converted rollerdisco, well, at least I hope so. Anyway, to give you an idea of this ridiculous space here's a picture:

So LSP are quite a good little band but the whole reason I went to the show was cause I designed one of their t-shirts and here it is in all of its glory!

Right, NOW onto the Highlands trip!
Our first stop, Scone Palace (pronounced skoon) where we had the BEST tour guide ever, Alistair! He was fucking crazy and way interactive. I don't really like seeing the insides of castles with fake set ups but he made it way fun!

There were random peacocks roaming around the grounds!

There was a maze, so we obviously had to go through it!
My bbg Emily found the bridge first and directed us to it since she could see all of us wondering about, lost :P

What was in the center you ask? A weird naked lady fountain...
On the grounds were omgomgomgomgogmogmgomgomg HIGHLAND COOS CUTEST ANIMALS IN THE HISTORRY OF ANIMALS and being in Scotland has totally made me obsessed!
Alright, if you haven't heard of awkward turtle this won't make sense, but me and my friends have this thing called awkward highland coo so when there's an awkward moment you make the motion of milking a highland coo and go "meuwp meuwp" so we of course had to do this NEAR a highland coo!
After stalking the Highland coos we got back on the bus and headed to Pitlochry
I don't know if you actually pronounce it like this, but Rach if you remember the guy on Last Comic Standing who lived in Hickory, well that's how we were pronouncing Pitlochery.... cause it's way better that way! We didn't have much time there so we just grabbed lunch and seriously it was the best sandwich I have ever had in the history of my life. If any of you come to visit, we're going back to Pitlochery just for lunch. OMGOMGOMG
After our wee lunch stop we went to the Battlefield of Culloden which was kind of dumb cause it was A FIELD but there was a rainbow so it was ok :)
Then we were off to Inverness where we just checked into seriously the nicest hostel I've ever stayed at and got dinner at Pizza Express.. hmmmmm pizza express drooollgughghg
Right, so early morning and our bus driver Russell made a special stop for us so we could hunt for Nessie on Loch Ness
Emily was VERY sad that Nessie wouldn't come out and play but in one of the books we read said she didn't come out during WWI and WWII so we think she's protesting the war... LAWZLZ

From there we headed over to Urqhuart Castle which is in ruins but sits on top of Loch Ness so it was really quite pretty!
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT assemble anywhere else....
I don't know why but there were like a MILLION flies in these packs of A MILLION just swarming all around the castle and it was seriously SCARY AS HELL walking through them. I didn't think I'd come out of it alive :(

UHMMM all you Harry Potter fans will recognize this bridge!!!
We climbed the ole monument (obvz, what else would you do) to hang out with this guy.
But in order to get up there, you had to climb through this ridiculously small hole, SOOO not fun!

So that was the end of our weekend adventure and then this past weekend I saw the motherfucking CORAL at the ABC OMGOMGOGMG amazing. Seriously like I would see them every night omgomgog but Bill Ryder-Jones what happened to your sexiness? Four bad pictures:
