I'm so sad to hare about Merlin! :( I too think that it has so much unexpressed potential :(

Oh I haven't turned my radio on in months xD Mostly because I usually listen to old songs (whose authors/singers are usually dead, LOL) or if they're new, it's just to hear some new albums like Mumford and Sons or Muse.
I love this song too! :D

Did that say, back in the early days, that they planned for it to be 5 seasons? I don't remember that at all. I was very surprised when I saw the new posts coming out about it. I just finished 5.06 and yeah, I have no idea how they are going to wrap up everything so quickly!

I think they did, yes. I think I have some vague memories about reading somewhere about a five year goal for Merlin and that they were planning season one with four more seasons in mind but weren't sure they'd get picked up for more and so there was some lack of reassurance. I suppose I could be getting that mixed up with Supernatural, but I really don't think so, since I was a Merlin fan for at least a year before I discovered Supernatural.

Oh wow... that's right! I tend to forget that Merlin pre-dates Supernatural (in the fan chronology of my friend-group, anyway) :P

Let me just say this: when I was typing up that comment the other day, I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to use the word "unsurity" in the sentence "...but weren't sure they'd get picked up for more so there was some..." It dawned on me today, in a discussion with James and Sarah about sometimes making up words when we can't quite find the one we're looking for, that what I meant was "uncertainty." :P

And yes, Merlin pre-dates Supernatural in friend gorup fan chronology. If I ever forget that, all I have do is remember that I hugged Ereka in an electronics store in Spain because she was the first person I'd met in real life who knew what the show was. And because Ereka and Spain happened before Marguerite hung out with us, thus introducing me to Supernatural, that means Merlin came first. Hehe.
