Stuff for my own reference, mostly.

Items carried most, if not all of the time:
- Anduril
- dagger, received from Celeborn in Lorien
- bow and some arrows
- Lorien cloak and brooch
- the Ring of Barahir
- Gondorian wristguards, taken from Boromir after his death
- probably has some things like a sharpening stone and tinder box... somewhere
- a small knife that slots into his sword sheath
--> as a note, he doesn't have the Evenstar pendant. This breaks shortly before the march on the Black Gates. I KEEP FORGETTING THIS since it's only in the extended version.

Titles and names, and who gave them to him
- Aragorn
- The Dúnadan ("Man of the West/Númenórean", given by Bilbo in Rivendell)
- Longshanks (Bill Ferny in Bree, Sam on first meeting)
- Strider (Butterbur, other Northern people, and the hobbits)
- Wingfoot (Éomer)
- Telcontar ("strider" in Quenya; the name of his royal house)
- Elfstone
- Heir of Isildur
- Estel ("hope", name given in childhood to protect his identity)
- Thorongil ("Eagle of the Star", when he ran around doing deeds for Rohan and Gondor)
- King Elessar Telcontar ("Elfstone Strider", full ruling title)

- He's the 16th Chieftain of the Dúnedain, the 26th King of Arnor, 34th King of Gondor, and first High King of the Reunited Kingdom.

- Aragorn's father, Arathorn, was killed when he was two years old. His mother, Gilraen, took Aragorn to Rivendell to keep him safe. She died when Aragorn was 56.

- Born in 2931 of the Third Age. Ascended the throne in 3019. Dies in 120 of the Fourth Age.

- Aragorn is a healer; this comes part-and-parcel with being the king of Gondor. What this entails exactly isn't elaborated on much in the books, and even less in the films. But the extent of what he can do seems to mostly be willpower based. In the Houses of Healing chapter, he works on Faramir, Eowyn and Merry mostly by putting his hand on their foreheads and "calling" them back from their ailments/death. Athelas was used as well, but it seems to be an enhancer, not the cure itself. Aragorn also works on Frodo and Sam after they're rescued from Mordor, and it's mentioned briefly that they were brought back from the brink of death and it took most of what he had.

- Aragorn went with the hobbits back towards the Shire as far as the Gap of Rohan.
