I've been very reminiscent of high school lately. Mostly because I picked up my senior year book to check on the name of someone and then I got to looking at the signatures, messages, etc. from people. Those were some good times. I really miss a lot of people. But we have grown up and have found our lives in different places. It happens

i totally feel you ladycat. a lot of guys don't know the good they've got.

sure, i could lose a little... but i have the problem of getting unneccesary attention. my wardrobe and scene can be a little provocative... but FUCK dudes. i'm not looking just to get laid.... and i've been single forever because i have no idea how to date.

this might be too much info but i just wanted you to know that i can relatw. just try and take faith in yourself because you ARE awesome and one day someone will come along that really, actually sees that.

I think girls are way superficial, but just in a different way. Apparently (as my hubby the psychologist tells me) research has shown that women are more likely to be interested in someone who is less physically attractive than they are (or would be considered to be) whereas dudes are just looking for the hottest chick they can get with, and not looking at much else. :P BAH. I think about couples I know and usually the girl is (in my opinion) better looking than the dude and it's far less often that I see a couple where the dude is goodlooking and I think the chick is less goodlooking. So YES. GUYS ARE SUPERFICIAL. Of course there are lots of lovely both somewhat average looking couples or whatever. :D HAHAHA But anyway. You know what I'm saying. Girls are superficial about other girls sometimes, but less superficial about their potential mates, whereas guys are WAY superficial about potential mates, but are way less superficial about who they're pals with
