Now I know I'm already 24897923502513 years late for this, but I just finished watching Ryuusei no Kizuna yesterday! I was so very, very impressed. The storyline knows not to mock the viewers' intelligence and I'm utterly pleased by that. Hm, wait, this warrants giant text.

If you're eons late, then what am I..?! The downloads are loading my hard drive and lying there, all ready to be watched and waiting for me to click them. That has yet to happen though. xD I feel lazy. But I DO want to have time to watch. D: It's gotten a LOT of great feedback from everyone I know who've seen it!

AND YESSSS NINO. I'd watched Letters from Iwo Jima ages ago without even realizing he was there! (Though this was way before I knew about JE, so yeah. LOL) His character, I've been eyeing, definitely. For him to be in such a big time Hollywood production. GOSH.

AND PFFFT. THEME SONG. LOLOLOLOL. Only for Ryo, I flip the channel to GMA.

Ah, you're so going to find it pretty worth it. I mean, I wasn't all that interested at first when I learned it had things like swindling and revenge and "OMG I'm going to kill you!" moments. I even wondered how the heck were they going to mix in those serious elements when all they had running at the time were relatively normal scenes. O: But yep, they know how to keep the pace going without following a boring pattern *cough*Kurosagi*cough*. Must-watch, I say. :D

I JUST WATCHED LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA LIKE... A FEW MINUTES AGO. *fail* It was heart-wrenching and annoying at the same time--thanks to the illogical way of thinking of some soldiers. =____= But Nino there, definitely made it all worth it, lol. I AM NOT BEING BIASED, 'KAY?

I KNOW. The theme song is capable of driving away to-be-fans. Sad. I bet if they take away that effin' excuse for a song they'd encourage more viewers. Also, yes, I sit through watching it with the hope of seeing Ryo and the rest of NEWS come here. 8D

I think I'll go check it out^^ gotta watch it in mysoju.

AHAHAHA. Hindi rin. Kaya rin ako nawala dahil na-adik ako maglaro ng Pokémon sa PC. (So for the past few days, 'yun lang ang pinagkakaabalahan ko, lol XDD) Ah, I always just laughed at the Ryoda fight--I mean, it's all cooked up by the producers anyway. How does "Who do you think you are?" hurt people anyway? It doesn't hurt a bug. But yeah, the fact that a lot of people got angry at Ryo because of it--it just means he's a good actor, rofl.

Oo kaya! It started this Monday. XD Hm, I haven't watched a lot kasi kaya I can't give you good recs. Most of what I watch pa are dramas with NEWS members, kaya ayun, it'd be biased. D: Ah, Walang Hanggan by Wency Cornejo, lol. So corny. Sobrang out of place pa kapag nilalagay sa scenes. =____=

Nako! parang ako dati, naadik sa pokemon kaya gameboy ng insan ko hinarbat ko! lol. Naanulang ba kasi ako dun sa Ryoda fight kasi parang...bata talaga si Ueda na binu-bully ni Ryo~ haha^^ sensitive pa naman ako masyado pagdating sa mga bey-bi-bey-bihan ko. ^^ Hindi talaga minsan marunong pumili ng dubber ang GMA (this coming from a GMA fan) pati ung akmang song minsan hindi nila na huhuli. Ala akong amore manuod ng tv ngayun, hehe. I'm not a NEWS fan to begin with pero, I think i'll check them out. ^^ San kaya ako mag umpisa?

LOL. I guess ganoon lang talaga ang tao sa mga gusto nila. XD Pero like what has been said countless times before, ABS-CBN and GMA have no separate dubbers of their own. There is just one dubbing company to be utilized by both. May mangilan-ngilan na tied sa isang station, but most of the dubbers are freelancers. So, kapag sinabi mong GMA's dubbers suck, para mo na ring sinabi na ABS-CBN's dubbers suck, haha.

Saan ka mag-uumpisa? Hm, why not watch concert footage? :D I recommend Never Ending Wonderful Story. Download mo from NEWShFAN. In four parts 'yun. Pero kung hindi kaya ng hard drive mo 'yung over 1 GB worth ng files, try mo na lang maghanap sa Youtube. I'm sure mayroon 'yan. Panoorin mo na rin 'yung Domoto Kyoudai interview ng NEWS 'nung 8 members pa sila. XD

I haven't watch it yet, but I might consider Ryusei no Kizuna on the "waiting list" after your post. After all, all Ryo's dramas are great (and still haven't watch both Last Friends or 1 litre of tears ;_; fail)

Oh, totally. :D Well I wouldn't say on a general basis that all Ryo's dramas are great, but most of them do have interesting plotlines. :) Don't worry, I haven't watched Last Friends yet, too. XD But 1 Liter of Tears is good! Well, at least if you fancy total "sniff" dramas. I cried every episode. D8 *crybaby*

I'm a whore for a good cry basically. I'm too fond of sappy dramas though, like I need a strong reason to cry all out XD but my friend told me 1 Liter of Tears one of is the exceptions, perhaps I'll watch it when I get in the mood (totally on crack now lol)

Bakit ngayon mo lang pinanood? HAHAHA. :D I completely agree--RnK is definitely one of the best. At least in my opinion. :D Maybe I'm just a huge crybaby, but I became teary-eyed and emotional while watching some of the episodes. *__* Oh, and I haven't read the original novel yet, but it seems to be just as good. <3

Hay, you're right about the implied "sibling" attraction. But I think Taisuke and Shizuna have a stronger bond as siblings. I just don't find it a good idea to alter that bond. ~_~

If you watched Ryuusei for Ryo, I was more excited to see Nino. (Awww, gomen, Ryo-chan. But Nino IS my JE sanban (behind Tacchon and Yamapi) after all. :D) NINOOOOOO *flails* I have always been thinking of the exact same thing: Nino CAN act with just his eyes. And I always seem to forget that he's Nino when I watch his doramas. He plays each character so perfectly. <3 That's why he's my favorite JE actor. <3

My sister and I were discussing about how it'd turn out between the siblings and Shizuna once she finds out. Like who'd find it awkward and stuff. And we found ourselves wishing that nothing would change. XDD I just don't really like stories like that.D

Yeah, that part too. *_* May isa pang magandang part e. Nakakaiyak 'yung scene na nagsu-switch 'yung actors between adult and child, tapos ine-enact nung mga adult actors 'yung scene nung bata pa sila. 'Yung gusto ni Ryo na dalhin 'yung laruan nya pero 'di pwede, tapos ipinagpipilitan parin niya. XD Basta, hirap i-explain. :D

Dorky!Ryo is so fun to watch. :D And yeah, minsan nakakaumay na si Kakkoi!Ryo. Scary!Ryo in Last Friends was, well, scary. XD It's hard to guess which is closer to RL Ryo. XD Pero I agree--dun sa earlier episodes (like the "She's selling condoms!" part), he seemed more natural. :D
