So the Wings pulled it together and played a good game down in Nashville today.

What a flukey goal by Lids but it seem to get the boys going...that and the good 5-3 penalty kill.

Osgood got the shutout. Now on to the second round.

P.S. Hopefully we get to see Malts soon!

The game was a nail biter for awhile. Nick's goal definitely led to good things. And my heart was racing during that 5 on 3 kill, especially with Kris and Cheli in the box!

But they did it! :)

I would think Kirk would be ready for Game 1, especially if they start on Thursday.

And now we wait to see who their opponent will be...

When I get nervous watching the games, I usually (besides yelling at the TV)end up tapping the remote against my leg or the chair...I think I'm going to need a new one :-)

One thing I'm concerned with is our turnovers...the Wings seem to be careless with their passes out of the zone at some points.

I usually have the games on but I've been watching some of the other series (Calgary/San Jose & Washington/Philly mostly) and they've been pretty exciting.
