Good game by the Wings today! They looked really good for most of the game. Franzen left the game with some type of injury which is potentially concerning. Glad to see Malts in there still instead of Kopecky.

I'm going out for a quick trip to Detroit next weekend to see Detroit play Colorado. Hopefully it will be this type of game!

The boys did play well this afternoon! I hope Franzen isn't hurt too badly we can't afford to lose him and Homer at the same time. I was happy to see both Kirk and Kris get assists today! I just hope they kick some Penguin ass tomorrow because I hate them!

I agree with you on the Pens. I think for me it's because of Crosby...I don't know what it is but he just annoys me. I understand he is young, skilled and marketable(the face of the NHL - ugh!)but I'm sick of him. There are so many other exciting players around the league that could also be promoted

I happy the game is on NBC so I can actually watch on TV instead of the computer. Hopefully the Wings carry on with the good play tomorrow. It's a quick turnaround with the 12:30 start.

Crosby bugs me too. I think it was seeing his behavior in the Finals last year that did it for me. I can't believe he didn't address the media after they lost the series. That's what Captains are supposed to do...be there to face the media in good times and bad. I'm just sick of the marketing of him too. You're right they can use a variety of players to promote the game they don't need to focus on just one guy.

At least the travel to Pittsburgh is short so hopefully the quick turnaround won't hurt them too much. I'm sure the NBC guys will be full of the Pittsburgh love...gah!
