So! In Discworld canon, not everyone can see Death -- that is, not everyone can see that he is, in fact, a seven-foot-tall skeleton. Sophie will probably be able to see Death, because she does things like chat with the Devil canonically. But I'm actually making this comment because Sophie has no soul, and that may be a possibly strange thing by Death's standards. This is just an FYI, obviously it's your choice whether he's pinged or not!
