yeah, but that would've still made me two hours late for the show, so it'd would've been a waste.

thanks for the insight, though, garbage lady.

I would TOTALLY go see Decemberists & Beck with you....if it weren't for the fact that it costs SIXTY BUCKS a pop. Ouch.

...Okay, well, I haven't even looked into the prices, but I'm already pretty sure that with Beck as the main attraction, things aren't going to be cheap.

haha, i don't think it'll be 60 bucks, maybe 40.

i want to go, but i wouldn't want to drive by myself and meet you there. it'd be a long, boring ride.

man, it's so admirable of you to tour europe by yourself. that's tough to do, man...just the lonliness and such. i mean, of course you meet people and make friends, but let's face it- that's not going to happen too often. you're still going to reach lulls, and pushing through them is tough. so cudos to you, ally.

and thanks for the advice about grad school. onerous doesn't even describe the college-picking process. it's just a bear, man. but yeah, you're right...most schools are going to have programs that are pretty much the same in quality, so why not choose the cheapest one in the best location?

thanks man, and keep on rockin' in the not-so-free world.

Thanks for the kind compliments, Josh. Apologies for the long delay in responses, but I am currently out in the thick of things here in Italy (Rome, to be more precise). Tomorrow I board a train bound for Interlaken, then five days hence I will be in Vienna. Following that, Prague, Berchtesgaden, Augsburg, Berlin, Amsterdam, Calais, and then back to London, where I have three days to kill....by seducing British women ( ... )
