Here by way of makesmewannadie's recommendation, and this is fabulous. I was a little disoriented by the way you broke it up, and didn't immediately connect the beginning bit and the ending bit, but reading through again the scattered mentions of the rocket and the stars completely charmed me.

This is just perfect, and funny and sweet and so, so good. It's 'stop and squee in the middle' good. 'They could totally do a riff on this in Ocean's13' good. 'Keep and reread again and again' good.
