Saul sighed. “I must still teach you everything. For two weeks,” he said, “until the job is done, I want you to be in a room together and behave like colleagues. Just people doing a job. No finishing of sentences, no stealing food, no touching. No late night drinking, driving, no ganging up on Linus.”
“Will someone else gang up on him?” they both asked in unison, and Saul banged his glass down on the table.
This and Linus' “That you’re, you know,” he waved his hand again, “not exactly clear on the boundaries of friendship.” just win at life. And Danny thinking about the star and Rusty not laughing; just brilliant.

And it is so so so so SO TRUE. ♥__♥ I had the hardest time choosing which quote to use for it - I was going for the ganging up on Linus section, aslfjasldkfjasd ♥♥♥ - and then, when it was too long, decided that only caps could come as close as a quote to expressing my love for this. SO AMAZING.

One of the things I always appreciate in your work is the rhythm and flow of dialog and the way you work it with details about expression- no matter the fandom or characters, kind of conversation, it reads seamless and strengthens the characterizations, serves the story. Nice.
