Okie dokie, so. My recent trip to Cardiff and London produced many, many Doctor Who and Torchwood-related photos, seeing as I traveled with some hardcore fans of the shows and became a big fan myself just before leaving. We went to two Doctor Who expos, one in Earl's Court in London and one in Cardiff, and we also traipsed around both cities ( Read more... )

Thanks! It took me way longer than it should have to put all this together, haha. Yeah, Cassandra creeps me out a bit, but not as much as the FREAKING WEEPING ANGELS, which I've discovered I can't really talk about without capslocking and shuddering. There was one in the Cardiff expo too, though it was up in a loft and in shadow. I'm not sure what frightened me more, being able to approach one up close, or having one watch me from above...

Have you ever been to the London DW expo? If not, you should! It's way fun.

Dude, the Globe backdrop thing? Killed me. In the confidential for that episode, they were talking about how they had to go about making the Globe more authentic, which apparently they did by putting a backdrop across our beautiful stage when they didn't start using those in theatres for another hundred years!! Grr. I did happen to go visit my old boss one of the days they were filming, didn't see anything though.

Gah, that's dumb about the backdrop. They should have had you as a consultant that for that ep! :D

Did you used to work at the Globe?

Yeah, I was there for two seasons. I guess I don't talk about it as incessantly as I thought! I was going to go back this year but it fell through at the last minute, I was gutted.

Oh, it's very likely I've missed it, trust me. :) I mean, knew you were a huge Shakespeare girl, but not that you had worked at the Globe!! That's kind of insanely awesome. How are you so cool?
