I'M MILDLY SHOCKED BY THIS, TBH.
It's kind of ridiculous. He doesn't like like her, but she's definitely one of his best friends and he would shank anyone who actually hurt her which is more than he'd do for most everyone else. At the same time, she's still absolutely terrifying and obnoxious and Robert is just. resigned to dealing with her.
I feel like there's a cat macro somewhere that could describe it better.

Janus isn't quite sure what to think about Lance. He was funny as hell to poke at, sure (lol bishop ponce), but at the same time, Lance actually kind of got to him in that looong conversation. Like, with the confessional stuff, he was just trying to be funny, and then Lance pretty much hit his GUILTGUILTGUILT buttons. And then there's the whole helping him even when he said not to thing, which basically goes against everything Janus has learned and come to expect from the Wasteland, among other things. He was grateful for the help, but couldn't really bring himself to admit it or appreciate it.
tl;dr, Janus has issues and Lance effectively poked at them a lot. Janus will gladly poke at Lance in the future, but he'll be leery at the same time since, yeah, he kind of got owned in that conversation.

That's awesome. Man, now I need to come up with a good nickname for Janus that Lance could use ICly... Oh, come to think of it, I think Lance would really just call him his [unwilling/stubborn] patient. :>d

No, really, that's pretty much it. Janus doesn't have a solid opinion on him either way, but does think he's pretty useful for information and can be hilarious. A++, would bother again!
