yeah, it's the specifics...i don't know, it's not the fact that i'm afraid that someone's gonna read and then forever hold a grudge, it's just...i don't know - it's the overall sense of knowing that perhaps someone out there is reading it, and you don't know it...perhaps coming off as a hypocrite is my fear. blah. we'll see how it goes - i'll prob end up changing my mind anyway! haha

I thought about making mine friends only, because I dont like the fact that my journal can show up on meta search engines and read about my adventures in baby oil and dirty socks, but anyone who knows me knows I am few bricks short a load.
but I know how somepeople like to remain private and others, well they let everything on the open (literally). I remember when i was on dead journal I came across a old high school friends journal. She was a on othe girls who could be classified as preppy. anyways in her journal she talked about meeting guys off the net, screwing them and not leaving out any details. She even had the balls to post topless photos/thong shots of herself on her journal. Now, I never told her I saw her journal, but I seen her a few weeks ago at a pool hall and I couldn't stop thinking about how I knew about what she does online. I need a life. bye.

no no, that's so true! there's are maybe four people i know from school who have livejournals and i have gotten their lj name from one person or another and of course they don't know i'm reading all about their shite - so i when i see them around, since i'm not really friends with any of them, i just think about what i've read on lj and associate them with what they've written...perhaps it isn't fair, but it is kind of interesting to read......i'm so bad. haha

Do wot you need to do. It's not an option for me with my journal as most of my friends are not even users.
It's just a good way to have everyone (out-of-town and overseas)keep up with me.
Besides... I am on yer friends list. Ha!

very true! i actually prefer that my friends/family don't read my lj because that way i can keep my personal thoughts and opinions exactly that - personal. like a diary, y'know? hidden under the matress.

as for the people on my friends list currently, i am here to muse you with my daily happenings. often boring, quite often unexpected. ;]
