Hunted all over, but couldn't find a "email the artist" connection anywhere, so... I just want to compliment you on an excellent strip. Well-drawn, literate (which is IMPORTANT), true-to-life (I've been owned by assorted catmasters since I was three and I'm 57 now, so trust me I KNOW), and VERY funny. I pass most of them on to my distribution list - I hope some of them will start accessing you directly. I do have one (small) suggestion - a few strips contain obscenities - there is really no reason for that, it doesn't improve anything. You should eschew such in the future - after all, we want strips like yours to develop fans of all ages. Cordially, Moses Lambert MacBenah@kdsi.net
i couldn't seem to find a link to send you some love.. so i thought i'd do it through livejournal. snooch and eben are my heroes. thanks for all your work!
Well, we certainly make no direct attempts to be obscene. I, myself, find that it can detract from the impression of composure in some situations.
However, living with my brother on a daily basis could drive even Mother Theresa into a fit of foul-mouthed hysteria, so I don't think we'll be seeing any change in the true-to-life depictions.
It is as I suspected - there is in fact a doppleganger for everyone out there.
Introducing to Raistlin and Caramon: my two more-hairy sisters, Fe and Chill. Otherwise known as Tense and Dense respectively.
Fe - very clever, very manipulative, slender (ok, thinner than Chill), would be a chess expert if she could just work out how to play it without a thumb.
Chill - um, not so clever, talks to walls, plump, considers the height of strategy to be to thump her sister on the head. Repeatedly.
The girls from the UK say "hi!" Well they would, but Fe's pretending to be asleep and Chill's talking to the houseplant.
(These comics scarily mimic my life - keep up the good work!)
Greetings! I'll be forced to keep this brief, as Caramon perked at the mention of "girls" and is now frantically grooming himself. Fortunately there's plenty of acreage to cover and I have a little time, at least.
Let Fe know that with patience, chess pieces can be nudged and swatted into position. Some try to argue that it's not a legal move because the paw leaves the piece. I contend that since the piece was never picked up to begin with, the "setting down" terms don't apply.
Of course, given the company in my abode, I might as well be playing versus a houseplant.
Had to leave a note since I love your comic so much... I had a challenge from a friend to revamp our LJs and see which one turned out better, and I couldn't help but use some of your graphics for icons. I've linked to the comic and have been spreading the word, so I hope you don't mind! If you do, just let me know and I'll gladly respect your wishes and take them down.
Thanks for finally showing what cats are really like!
I used to be owned by a catgod, Ken-ohki, that looked just like you, do you get on the fridge to sleep too? I mean, I know you love gooshy food, and sunlight, but what about getting way on up high (as per your godly status) and sleeping?
