So this is what went down while I was at work:

The dog ran away.
My mom and brother searched frantically for 2 hours for him.
Within the first 10 minutes my brother called my neighbor and said "This is the Seeleys, we just want to tell you that our dog ran away so if you see him, please let us know."
"I don't care, call the animal control officer!"
