That was lovely. I really enjoyed thinking about the differences and where they might have stemmed from. What an interesting reflection of the real timeline this was :)

What a great opening - I love the way you complicate things with Ginny thinking about being pregnant, and how the thought about Harry being dead sort of slips through her defences.

Her youngest boy. The one that looked just like Harry.

OMG.The tension, and GInny's confusion - you do it so beautifully. I love the way she cries along with Molly, and how she can remember things from both timelines. The way it's such a relief (to the reader, as well) when she remembers her sons' names. And this world you're building: you draw such a dark, expressive picture with just a few details.

I love the way nothing is simple - Ginny's feelings about Fred, for example, are beautifully realised.

But no matter how much she told her brain that is what she wanted, it knew she really wanted Harry and it was to her brain the mirror listened.Brilliant. Of course she'd have problems with this. And I like the way she works around it, too ( ... )

What an absolutely BRILLIANT story! I'm sitting here with my jaw dropping open. I love how one little detail of Harry's forgetting about the diary in his trunk, and Ginny's never taking it back changed everything so drastically. Without the diary, Dumbledore never began his research and never found out about the horcruxes, so they weren't destroyed, so Voldemort won . . . WOW. Excellent work!

This was so brilliant and magnificently well written! I love this idea and the way you used the mirror of erised, and well, absolutely everything about this. I love the pivoting point that you chose; it makes perfect sense, and just, guh, this is so good. Heart-wrenching and sweet and I can't imagine being in Ginny shoes when she woke up in that alternate reality but you portrayed her so clearly and believably. Really, really a wonderful story!
