Summary: Harry has lost his glasses and his wand. How did that happen?
Harry stretched languidly, sighing in contentment. It wasn't often he allowed himself a lie in. He stretched again, bumping the head board, and something fluttered onto his head. He grasped the piece of paper, holding it a few inches from his face to read it. He smiled as the simple message came into focus. Ginny had drawn a large heart with a kiss mark below it. She didn't ever wear lipstick, but kept it to make notes like this.
Harry reached for his glasses on the nightstand but felt nothing. He patted around the top of the nightstand, but his glasses weren't there. He had a sinking feeling in his stomach, and ran his hand along the smooth and completely empty surface. His wand wasn't there either.
Harry sat up, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. He moved his face within an inch of the top of the nightstand, not that it did any good. He sat back up, held out his hand and said, "Accio glasses!"
Nothing happened. He tried again, saying, "Accio wand!" Once again nothing happened.
Harry dropped to his knees beside the bed and began feeling around on the floor. He reached under the bed and felt something that wasn't his glasses or his wand. He pulled it out-Ginny's knickers. That brought back happy memories from the previous evening. Memories he really wanted to repeat, but Ginny had an extra Quidditch practice so he'd have to wait until later.
Harry continued crawling around the floor of their bedroom, but all he managed to find was one of his shoes, which had somehow become wedged upside down under the armchair in the corner.
He stood up and decided he would have to retrace his steps. How was he supposed to find his glasses and his wand if he didn't have either one? He couldn't see, and he couldn't summon them. He stood at the top of the stairs and tried to accio the items again. Again nothing happened. Harry sighed. Apparently he had to be in a life or death situation in order to perform wandless magic.
Since walking down stairs without his glasses was probably about as dangerous as facing Voldemort, Harry sat on the top step and began to scoot down. On the third step down, Harry found his pants. He put them on since scooting naked was uncomfortable. Halfway down the flight was his other shoe. One of Ginny's shoes and her jeans were on the landing.
Halfway down the next flight he found Ginny's other shoe and one of his socks. His other sock was hanging over the banister further down. Another flight down and Ginny's bra was hanging over the newel post. Harry felt his way into the drawing room, stepping on Ginny's shirt as he went. He sat on the sofa and felt around the coffee table. He smiled as his hand closed over the familiar shape of his glasses. He put them on and saw the armpit of his shirt resting in his discarded salad bowl, the remnants of balsamic vinaigrette soaked into it causing a deep brown stain. That would not be fun to clean, but he'd deal with it later.
Now able to see, Harry searched under the sofa for his wand, looked back up the stairs and down again, and decided to have some tea before he continued his search. He put the kettle on, and saw his wand on the kitchen counter. Why had he left it there? He was sure he had it in the drawing room when he and Ginny were . . . and he was certain he'd cast a contraception charm . . .
Harry heard a pop and a call of "Harry? Are you home?"
"In the kitchen, love. How was practice?"
Ginny appeared in the doorway, smiling. "Good. What have you been up to? You aren't even dressed."
"Looking for my glasses and my wand, but I can think of much better things to do while I'm not dressed."

"Ginny, have you seen my glasses? I can't find them anywhere!"
"I remember what happened the first time you lost your glasses and your wand, too. The result is about to start his last year at Hogwarts. I'll be out in just a minute.
Harry laughed. "Oh, here they are! I think I need to talk to the Healer about a new prescription. Everything's really blurry."
Ginny came out of the bathroom into their bedroom where Harry was, walked close to him, and started laughing. "I don't think you need to see the Healer. You're wearing my glasses." Ginny pulled them off his face and put them on her own. "Yours are over there." She collected Harry's glasses from the armchair in the corner and gave them to him.
Harry kissed her. "We could go back to bed, and neither of us would need our glasses."
"Later. We need to get the kids back to Hogwarts. But after, we will have plenty of time alone."
