She didn't like that. She'd hoped that after Obadiah's influence was removed, they'd calm down, but...

"I think they're angling to appoint a new CFO behind your back, at the very least."

Lifting the welding mask from his face long enough to look at the troubled expression on Pepper's face he looked back to the foundation to what he was working on. "Any real news?" he replied, voice laced with the usual dose of sarcasm. The board was the board. He hadn't expected a great deal of change from them- not in the least.
