If I were in the mood to do a good deed, I would see about getting my housemate a jigsaw puzzle. Then perhaps he would stop complaining so much about being confined to his bed.

In the meantime, have some word puzzles:

Let's see...

The third would be "forgive and forget," the fifth is "on cloud nine," then "in between jobs," "paradox," "one in a million," "down to earth," "you're under arrest," and the last two are "easy on the eyes" and "hitting below the belt." The first, second, fourth, and eleventh have me stumped, I'm afraid, unless...

The $ is some sort of currency, isn't it? Then the eleventh would be "free for all."

That first one... Growing economy?...

Hmm. I'm afraid I was always better at physics, than word games.

Quite. What is 'EARTH'?

Earth would be a planet - the planet I'm from. "Down to earth" is simply an expression that means you're practical and realistic.

That's one answer. There's another that works as well.

Let's see~

The first one is "growing economy".

Forgive and forget is the third one, and "on cloud nine" is the fifth one down. I've also figured out the "one in a million" one, and "you're under arrest". And the very last one I know very well - "hitting below the belt"!

I'm glad you enjoyed them. I'll have to think up some harder ones. While I do, here are a couple of easier ones:
