Ahh! I admit it took me waaaaay too long to read this story. Especially considering all the amazing things I've heard about it from, well, everyone lol. All the characters are perfect! I love and hate Erik and feel so bad for Charles with all his confusion. His feelings becoming warped, who knew stockholm syndrome could be so hot?? And it IS hot, what with the way you write it. Whenever I read any scene with Erik/Charles, its all I can do not to yell at my laptop "Will you two just SEX IT UP already!?!" Love this, can't wait for more =)

No sexing it up *quite* yet, but the next time Erik and Charles meet after this next chapter...? Well, let's just say there might be an extra dimension to their relationship then. ;)

Oh no don't worry! There are somewhere around, mm, maybe six chapters left? Depending on how long some of the scenes go for, and how much I put between them.

Yay, thank you! Yeah I'm not sure that conversation will stick, all that much - they're kind of doing it more out of passion than logic at this point? Which will become increasingly clear. And the next part is heeeeeere~! :D

Erik really always did/does something to make Charles put his principles between them, doesn't he? But looks like he is still winning their contest, one must either admire his will or Charles faltering denial. I haven't decided yet.

Well, and there's also the fact that we still don't really know what Erik wants - the contest he's trying to win might be very different from the one Charles thinks! :o Charles' denial, however, is definitely faltering; possibly faster than he'll admit! ;)

¨Pausing my reading again, to comment. I just loved the very siblings-on-different-sides feel of Raven and Charles' relationship in this chapter!

The way Raven is caught in-between her love for the man who's basically her brother and the idiollogy she chose to stand behind and fight for - her almost denial of how fucked up the world is now and how insane Erik is VS Charles' love and loyalty to Raven fighting with his knowlegde that everything happening around him and to him is very, very wrong.

Raven teasing Charles about a possible romance between him and Erik was funny as well as heartbreaking. Charles' shame and wish to protect Raven from knowing what's actually going on, combined with Raven willfully turning a blind eye (probably at least guessing that everything between Charles and Erik isn't candy and flowers) was just...I have no words

UGH. Poor Charles! I'm surprised the guy hasn't just wheeled himself out a high window by now, all these PROBLEMS. And Erik is out of his freaking mind...but for smoeone who hasn't studied politics you really have a great idea about how this can all get so out of a dictator's hands...how it's not all UP to him anymore...
