From Erik just TRUSTING the words he saw, to the entire atmosphere--grrrgh when Erik stopped at the word STOP and narrowly avoided death, my heart, let me tell you, a thousand beats per minute holy shit.

That entire last paragraph is amazing ;-; Just. ERIK.

(And of course their entire first meeting was perfect. What are you talking about Erik lying on top of someone and caressing them is a fine greeting, esp if that someone is Charles Xavier.)
