All right, here's what you do. Change from Times New Roman to Courier. Change all line spacing from 2 to 2.1. Change all margins from 1 to 1.1. Use footnotes.

And if you ever have hope of getting into anyone else's pants, you must never wear track pants except while exercising.

Yeah, I wound up deleting it because I realized I should just do the ballsy thing and use his recommendation even if I'm not sure it's the right thing to do, but that was my plan if I had gone about it as such, except that visiting him at his school is impractical, seeing as it's almost four hours away. But thanks for the vote of confidence, buddy, it's always good to have someone on your side.

(P.S.- To answer the question you asked in learn_french, even though I took French in high school, my sister gave me her first year college text a while ago, which was called Débuts or something like that. I don't know about supplements for it though, sorry.)
