I think you'll pick up on the Japanese once you're surrounded by it for awhile :)

...Though, I consider the three years I took business Japanese in high school the biggest waste EVAH. All I use it for is reading the books I order online and browsing the Internet. Should've taken Spanish instead.[/TANGENT THE SIZE OF MY CAR]

hehe, though I guess that is sorta usefull! I wish I was able to actually understand what I read, (knowing hiragana, some katakana, and kanji without knowing what alot of words means sucks, hehe!) Right now some of the manga, and artbooks I have aquired just sit on the shelf because I can't read them, which is a big reason why I stopped buying japanese artbooks! Maybe one day I can actually pick one up and read all the way through, that would be swell...

oh, and I wish my school had a Japanese course, I would have totally taken it instead of the 2 years of spanish and french I took, I totally don't remember anything in those classes...but since i work with mexicans...alot of things are coming back, hehe. And thanks, I sure will have fun and try to practice as much as I can for the 2 weeks I will be there!

Thank you! Hopefully the 2 weeks I go there will be a nice learning experience! I'll be asking what alot of things are in Japanese (good thing I learned that phrase!) and maybe since I will be staying with native speakers I will be able to practice!
