Finally my trip!

So I think I should maybe stop being lazy and just talk about my trip! ok let's take it by each bullet point that I pointed out in my earlier post and then I will add anything else that I seem to remember

ACK! sound so much fun! oh i wish i could go to japan! i would have to bring people with me to speak japanese, i bearly speak english. hehe but i think its neat that they found your color neat. I would have to guess they don't get many black people over there. it something i would have never thought of>< Seems like they thought you were like a rapper, hehe seems silly kinda, but neat. Yes yes photos photos!

Well, it was alot of fun and very different then my small columbus city, I don't know what they thought of me (plus before i went i straightened my hair and some people don't even know what I am now, some think I may be a mix or that I look slightly samoan with my new hair cut. Plus I don't wear hip hop clothes at all, I wear alot of button up shirts...hehe) but sometimes I actually wished someone like that actually started talking to me, but most likely the language barriar was something that made them rethink it.

I really need to get the images from my friend because he has some on his digital camera, then once I get paid again I can develop my roll of film.

That sounds great, I wish I could go to Japan. But I am only 14 and have no source of direct income. :( Your trip sounded fun though, and PLEASE show those statues! BTW, how was the food? y'know, besides the takoyaki. Mmm...japanese food (I want to try soba with wasabe so much)

Wasabi? have you tried it? It's actually pretty gross, one of the most strong tastes I have ever had....I actually bought some wasabi and seawed snacks home with me to give to people back home, and no one liked it...including me...but the looks on their faces when they took a bite out of them were priceless!

Other than that, the food was pretty good, I only had a couple times were I didn't like the food. Fast food resturants in Japan have alot smaller portions, which makes you feel better about yourself...hehe, also alot of the food makes you feel less likely to want seconds because it feels right to stop, which was another good thing about the food! I would have lost massive weight if I stayed there longer!

but yeah, if you get a chance to go to Japan you should take it! It's pretty nice to visit and experience something different.

I haven't tried wasabi, but I know it's like horseradish and I like spicy food.

yeah, it is basically the same thing...but I would have to say that I realllllly don't like it! My first encounter with wasabi was when I went to a resturant and had sushi, my friends said that I should dip it into this sauce and make sure it is completely covered! I did it and almost dieded... it is very strong and is only suppossed to be slightly dipped....

It will be a blast! And having conversation practice is a must, which i had none before I left...sooo I was really shy to speak it.

OMG your righ Takoyaki is really gross. I bought some at a japanese resturant one time and I coulden't eat more than one piece. XD

Yeah. Takoyaki is not as good as anime makes it out to be.

yeah, it's a blast, but yeah, never again will I eat takoyaki...but Onigiri was good anime doesn't lie there!

hehe, I couldn't believe the taste at all, and my friend was like you should see what it looks like and then he paused and said maybe I shouldn't....hehe...wow!
