Update - I broke things off with Erik and not a moment too soon. We had already signed a lease to move in together on July 1st when the problems arose. Lucky enough my apt manager has known me since I was 12 and let me stay in my apt

I'm glad you discovered the problems before you moved in together...live gets about 50,000x more difficult when you discover them shortly after.
