You guys know I lost Hammond last year right?
Well how long do other cats tend to morn/miss their companions for? I'm woundering becuse May is still very clingy and sometimes wanders the house crying when she know were I and the other two cats are.

Aww, poor May. I think cats do mourn the loss of a companion - I know my parents cats always looked for the cat that had died - for quite some time after. I don't know how long though. *hugs*

I think it's worse for May becuse they were litter mates and the most they were apart for was about 10 hours or so.

I think it depends how long they were together for. My cats have been known to mope for a couple of months after losing a companion. Her crying could perhaps be a sign of something else?

May is eating, sleeping, pooping fine so I am thinking grife she and Hammond were/are litter mates and 10 hours is the most they were ever apart.

My Dad's cat grieved for him from when Dad died until he died (three years). *hugs May*
