Two weeks ago my mom asked me to help her pick out a new laptop. She knows next to nothing about computers, but since she's less than a year from retirement and my dad already is retired, they're going to be traveling a lot, and have decided a laptop would be the way to go. South Carolina is warm and moist.

I'm going to South Carolina on Wednesday. Yay. For training. I'm training them. Whee. On a rather dark note. I found out last night that a very near and dear friend of the family has very widespread cancer throughout his lymphatic system, as well as his lungs.

Color me very saddened by this.
