Name: Lacey Angerosa
When you realized your talent?: This is a toughie. I think I first realized my talent when I got accepted into the Tampa Bay Children's Chorus. I always knew I wanted to entertain people, and since I was eight years old everything just blossomed from there.
Is your talent something you want as a career?: Of course! My dream is to be on Broadway. To be in that City and live that life.... to be those characters, I don't know why everyone doesn't want it.
Anyone you look up to/inspires you?: Idina Menzel, definitely! How she's pulled through every obstacle life offered her is astonishing.
Favorite band/singer: I'm a broadway geek, but I LOVE Something Corporate.
Favorite movies: All the Harry Potter Movies, Mean Girls, Chicago, Peter Pan ( Both Disney and the new version ), The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid ( Yes I am a Disney freak! )
Favorite TV shows: I don't really watch TV.
Favorite foods: Chicken Marsala! It's for those italian people like myself!
Favorite actor/actresses: Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Idina Menzel, Hugh Jackman, John Travolta, George Clooney, Tom Hanks, Tommy Lee Jones, Kirsten Dunst
Describe your personality: I am just about as crazy as you can get. I laugh at almost everything and I'm always there for my friends. A good quality about me is that I'm serious when the time comes for it, and people have told me I'm mature for my age. I feel like I know a lot about the world even at sixteen, and I know there is still tons to learn, but I feel like I have a good grasp on reality. I'm a dreamer, though, because I believe without faith and dreams we are all lost to practicality.
What do you look for in a person (in general)?: They have to be loyal. I can't stand someone telling my secrets when I entrusted them to that person. Luckily I've found a few that fit this requirement!
What do you do on your free time?: I am a competitive figure skater! I've competed at the Regional level and I have a lot of medals hanging up! I also just love to do regular girly things, go eat, go to the mall, shop, see a movie, pretty much anything that gets me out of the house and near a radio!
Where is your favorite place to be?: Times Square. I feel complete whenever I stand in the middle of all that hustle and bustle.
And, your opinion on this community?: I think it's a great idea! A place where artists of all forms can come together and help one another.

I guess it's time to tell you guys what my talent is! SINGING! I sing everywhere, and whenever! I have a website with a whole bunch of sound clips on it, so pick whichever one you would like to hear! They aren't that great of quality, mainly because my recording device was a computer mic! XD

My most recent performance was "Grease" where I played Sandy. It was my first musical ever and oh my GOD did I have fun! Everything about that era appeals to me... yes, even those itchy crinolines I had to wear. My favorite part had to be during "It's Raining on Prom Night" when the director had me on top of this ten foot platform in a prom dress and heels, walking down the stairs and through the crowd at the dance that was "frozen". It was supposed to be like a dream sequence. The lights were dimmed and everything. I loved it! My least favorite scene was the drive-in sequence. Danny forgot his lines! And during one dress rehearsal he called me Patty Simcox! Hah! I look on it and laugh now.
This year, I might compete at the Florida State Thespian Festival in a Solo Musical event, singing "No Good Deed" from Wicked. We'll have to see if our teacher chooses me!
I went through a very rough time in my life and I wrote a lot of songs about a certain boy who broke my heart. I know, it's emo, but people are allowed to feel that way sometimes! It's nothing special, but here are a few excerpts:
