Though quite different than he office he was used to, the one Van currently occupied was as comfortable as any school

Luke could really care less about being "counseled" or whatever, but the chance to talk to someone he actually didn't hate was one he wasn't going to pass up. He poked his head into the open door, making sure Van wasn't already attending to someone before entering.

"Hey Master-er.. Mr. Grants." The redhead made a face. "It feels weird calling you that..."

The man looked up and his focused expression shifted into a genuine smile, "Luke. Its good to see you." His blue gaze stared at him, warm but intense as he sat back, steepling his fingers over his lap. "Feel free to call me what you like when we are alone." His eyes narrowed, his smile melting into a smirk, "In front of others, however, my present title would be best. I'm sure you understand that."
