Seriously, the list of their archives is a thing of beauty. I really wish my German didn't suck. In either case I get to be in this room.

Wow, that place is beautiful. It's nice to be reminded places such as that do exist.

It's even better to realize this is not just some far off place that I will never see either. I don't know how much of the place they'll actually let me into, but the State Room is definitely open to the public.

Unfortunately, they won't let you touch (or drool upon) the really cool old books. You have to ogle from a distance.

There was also a really amazing library at the castle in Prague...even the books were larger than life.

Oh, and the study portion of the study/travel this trip is for is on how the history and architecture of Central Europe are related. If we get any cool material on it I'll pass it along.
