Did you light all of the triangles and crystals with the fire attribute? Those when light open up some doors that will lead to the platform to change the ring to the function needed to get rid of the shadows.

Yeah, you need to light all of the crystal lantern things. There's one that's especially sneaky/easy to miss -- if you go to where the cat & man are and head all the way down that southern path, there's a lantern in that corner where the path turns right and that treasure box monster is.

Well, you guys are half right. I remember lighting them (i got past the dark temple) but then, you know that one room with a sorcerer's ring thing and a treasure box? You have to get to that room and change the ring to dark elemental. Then you come back and shoot the dark blobs with the dark rig. Iroic,I know. At first I thought I had to use ligth too -_-;;
