I know this comm isn't very active these days, but I thought I'd share this news anyway!

Funimation licenses Tales of the Abyss the anime

Yes, this was the same series brought over by Bandai not too long ago. Does this mean we'll finally be getting a dub?!

Would be nice to have the game's actors all back!

Funimation did well with the Tales of Vesperia movie dub, and even when they didn't get the exact same voice actors for most of the characters, it wasn't easy to tell the voice actors were different ((I know my brother was completely fooled)). Even if they don't have the same voice actors for Abyss, they will cast as close as possible, I'm betting.

cuz the fact that it was just released not too long ago by Bandai means nothing?
I already have the pleasure of owning the series, being a fan and all.
And that mad rush to MAKE sure i got it all before the death was also awesome. XD

would be nice to have a bluray release w/jpn audio and engsubs (can have eng audio too but i'm not concern about it.) only way i'm double dipping for this.
