Moot Court!!!

i get to argue a moot arbitration for professional practice tomorrow....i am lead lawyer for the owner against the architect. It should be fun, cause i get to argue, something i love...we will kill them!
and since i am one of the few who have been in court alot, they wont know what hit em. being a lawyer, not fun....playing lawyer..FUN!

I found out I have a public defender working for me. That's scary. Not taht I ever want or planned to be rich. But still...the guy is coming in working *nights* making less money than I make. Wow, I better really want this right? On the positive side of things, he said if I can get some time off I can come hang with him and he'll mentor me a little.

law is like architecture is like so many other professions...you may start off low, but you can move up much higher with time, and the career path you choose...public defender is not something you do for money, its for a cause. now, i feel that pro bono is better, with the ability to still make money with other clients
