had a pretty sad day yesterday, good riding practice, and did some very good jumps and all that good stuff. but one of the older horses, who now has a horse nervous system disease called epm, has layed down and not gooten up for several hours twice now. the disease is kind of bad, because what happens is the horse cant get back on its feet easily, ( Read more... )

Its sad to see when that happens. :( Am sorry the horse died, but in this instance was probably a blessing for the poor thing. *hug*

Years back I was helping raise a calf, but it was sick when it arrived and it eventually died in my lap. It's such a hard thing, holding an animal, comforting it, as its life passes.

well, i agree that i am rather insightful, somewhat awesome, and definatly studly, and the poor horse was a definate champion, struck down in its prime, haveing won over 500 championships
