yes i've been wandering around the Professionals videos on YouTube.
- arrived via a Martin Shaw 'George Gently' interview -
the Professionals was such fun.
And I am such a Doyle girl *grin*

Funny but I couldn't find anything much on The New Professionals
Hmm didn't anyone love it enough?

Ah yes, the appeal of the rough and dangerous. This seems to be a very common thing. I recall that my family watched The Professionals when it was first shown way back when. It had an appeal that USian shows like Starsky & Hutch or Miami Vice didn't. I suspect it was that the hipper USian cop shows back then were set in parts of the US which were a bit too alien for us to relate to. The Professionals on the other hand was set in a grimy post-industrial England we were very familiar with.
