San Diego Witch Creek Fires

San Diego County is on fire. Eight or nince fires burned today all throughout the county. My parents and youngest brother were evacuated from Poway around noon Pacific time, Monday the 22nd. They are in Santee and San Diego, while my other brother brother was forced to move north to Fallbrook, and then move north again to LA due to fires and ( Read more... )

Everyone in my family is safe, I hope yours are as well. I am terrified of finding out the extent of damages, but that will come with time. Right now my mom, aunt, uncle, grandma, and grandpa are together somewhere more towards the center of SD. So... we shall see. Best wishes to your family and everyone you know

My parents and Grandparents are in LA, finally evacuated yesterday about lunch time as well. Best to everyone.

I've been watching the net too, and begging people for updates. It's so terrifying. I'm glad everyone seems to be safe. My dad's place in SD is safe so far. Canon's parents and the horses were evacuated, but I think they've let people back in now. Hope it all calms down soon. *hugs*
