Renfaire... Is a scary place.

Went to the renfaire with wife and friends. The day we had gone had a scottish theme so I got to see a couple bagpipers that were REALLY good. Picked up one of their CDs: "Hunting Mcleod" which is O.K. Also bought a fantastic board game called Tafl which is kinda like Norse chess. the ren faire is a collection of all kinds of people... trekkies, anime fans, fat vikings, and too-tight styrup pants.

at least it was a somewhat attractive woman in the toe-pants.

and, incidentally, i want a drunken rematch at viking chess!

I thought the fat viking was awesome. He was full of.. viking-like qualities?

Drunken re-match? Certainly. That game is FUN.
