Oh completely. And really, for me it IS a religious experience, as music is a fundamental to my particular belief system.
But yeah, live shows are my favorite thing in the world, and i tend to spend more funtime money on those than anything else, but i've never been so...overwhelmed before.
for reals =) and the craziest thing was that the ladies in the front of the line were middle aged Japanese women who had been die hard x japan fans since day freaking 1, and were cosplaying and everything. it was fantastic.
I could describe a similar feeling the first time I saw System of a Down and thought for certain that I'd never have the feeling again. But then I saw Arcade Fire in concert and it was back. I don't know what it is about seeing your favorite musicians live but it really is an indescribable experience.
I knew it. A dream come true. Well, I at least had two music dreams from Japan come true for me this year already. I should be grateful for that. And Weird Al.
